We connect to the selected server instance using the MS SQL Management Studio software
It is best if all applications in the network cooperating with the database should be closed before the disconnection operation.
Right-click on the selected database. We select commands in turn Tasks and Detach next.
In the operation confirmation window, we can see the name of the base to be detached. We can also activate the option of closing open connections beforehand.
Confirm the operation by pressing OK.
Detached database should disappear from the Databases group in the "Object Explorer" section.
